How Verdict works
Share an Instagram post to Verdict (or paste a link in the app). We extract the post's main claim, check it against fresh web search, and notify you with a ruling — plus the sources, so you can verify them yourself.
Common questions
- Why did my check say "Can't verify"? We couldn't find solid, independent coverage for that specific claim. That doesn't mean it's false — it means there wasn't enough evidence either way.
- Why couldn't Verdict read a post? The post may be private or deleted, or Instagram was slow to respond. Sharing it again usually works.
- What's the limit? Free accounts include a set number of checks each month as a fair-use measure. It resets at the start of each month, and re-opening an already-checked post never counts against it.
- How do I delete my account? In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your Verum account and clears your history on the device.
- Are verdicts always right? No — verdicts are AI-assisted and can be wrong. Every result links the sources it relied on; always verify them yourself.
